My Uncle Clint turned 30 on August 16th. We went to visit him in Dallas and he had a party at Billy Bob's. There was dinner, dancing, Sara Evans, and even a rodeo. My parents had so much fun! I stayed with my cousin Kit, Aunt Staci, and Uncle Eric.

Cowboy Boots

Daddy surprised Mommy and I with new cowboy boots! Mine are pink with a silver toe. I love dancing around in them and acting like I am doing the doesy doe! I even love wearing them with my shorts and pj's!

Gran's Birthday!

We just celebrated my Gran's birthday! We baked her a special cake and cooked her dinner. It was yummy!

Mommy and I had a wonderful summer together. We got to go to storytime, jumpin jaks, painting, shopping, and lots more! Our last week of summer we went to Chik-fil-A (my favorite) and I got to help mommy in her classroom! We sure miss spending all of our time together.

Our family went to Galveston Island for a week this August. Addison loved all of the water and sand. She couldn't get enough of it! She enjoyed snacking on chips (with sand), splashing in the water, and getting spoiled by all of her family and friends! Zach was able to go on his first deep sea fishing trip and caught lots of fish. He cooked all of it and it was very yummy! I am sure he will be going on another trip soon.

Kit has been in town for the past week. I went to visit her at her Gran and Pa's house. Also, she got to come spend a night with us. We took her to Chili's (her favorite), swimming, and to Marble Slab. Addison tried mocking everything Kit does! Too cute!

My brother and sister-in-law went on vacation and I got to keep Shaye. I am very thankful for the time we spent together! Addison asked for Shaye days after Shaye had to go back home...They really enjoyed each other's company and all of the activities!

I took the girls to storytime at Barnes and Noble. They got to hear a story, make a craft, and pick out a book to take home. Afterwards, we ate at Chick-a-la (as Shaye says!) and played on the slide!

Shaye and Addison got to attend pirate night in our neighborhood. Their friends Everett and Ricky did it with them...They got to hear a pirate story, make pirate crafts, dress up like pirates, go on a treasure hunt, and even take treasure home! What fun!
